Just got home from having a drink at an out-door cafe. I could see my breath. Summer and fall are definitely over. For all who live in northern climes, dig out those woolen socks.
i love the long dark evenings tucked up in front of an open fire the rain pelting off the windows wind howling oh i cud go on n on n on but i wont bore ye

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. `'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door - Only this, and nothing more.'
Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December, And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor. Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore - For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels named Lenore - Nameless here for evermore.
Both are too dark and dreary. I love Spring and Summer...seasons of growth and light.
Yes, the weather has gotten quite cool suddenly, and the leaves are changing. Autumn has definitely arrived in all of her splendor...and winter beckons at the door. There are only two good things about winter to me: no bugs outdoors, and that if we didn't have it, we wouldn't appreciate Spring as much.

druidess6308: Nope. That's a state I really don't like...too much traffic congestion from the tourism, and the big bugs. I really hate bugs.
i once visited my brother, who used to live in florida....and upon my suggestion of getting something to eat....his response was....no, we have to wait for the ''blue hairs'' to get finished eating cause the lines would be too long
