Considering love is often mistaken for various other emotions, love is often overlooked or mis-interpreted where it is needed. And sometimes it is sought for or fought for where it has long passed.
Love as I know it is a series of chemical reactions exciting the very core of a human, such that a marvelous sunset and beautiful passionate kiss can utterly shake a person to their core.
It is more then words on screen or a smile on a webcam.
Although similar chemical reactions can occur on a small scale in the absence of someone whom you think you love.
With them more often enough their negative attributes win the war, and the love you talk of turns to hate :(
blondeaozichick: yeah.. I like your philosophical dribble too psuedo
hmmmmmmmm teatotaller drinks half a bottle of bundy, hits the keyboard with a heap of dribble and becomes popular. might have to drink a bit more in future lol
Most people that I speak with who have been together for multilple decades talk more about deep frinedship and sharing common enjoyment through participating together in activities. Be it through doing things, watching things, talking about things ETC but both these are built up over the decades they have spent together. So the common thread in all this for me is spending time together doing stuff which builds this deep friendship we call love.
There also must be that element of physical attraction as well. It may be appearance or fragrence what ever floats you boat but for me it must be there for now at least.
To much fantisy or illusion can come from not actually having the physical presence of the other person, for me that is.

Yes thanks doing alright now. Took myself and my daughter to the sunshine coast for a week. Left the car and the phone behind and just was and felt and connected.

blondeaozichick: Q: In the day and age of the internet and internet dating, adult chatrooms etc..
do you think it is possible to fall in love with someone you chat to, email, talk to on the phone etc etc before you have even met?
Nope.... No Way...., have to see them in da flesh, as how do we really know that a pic or whatever is actually who they really are???I believe you can fall for someone instantly, but thats after you speak with them in da flesh

[/think that it is possible to 'fall in love' with the IDEA of being in love with a person over the internet / phone...
but it is only when you meet and the sparks begin to fly, and you exchange 'that look' that you know how true that possibility is.....
and then after you meet for the first time..... and the second.... and the third....... then you can fall...... and fall hard.color]
