Hope ( Archived) (8)

I wrote this in a dark time in my life. I just pulled it out as I do from time to time. I hope it speaks to someone here.

Alone, now, not always
It wasn’t long ago, or so it seems sometimes
That you were here with me.

Faith and trust, hope and love. We had it all.
Where did it go, why, how?
Love is supposed to grow, not diminish.

What once was strong turned bitter.
Faith, gone. Trust a thing of the past.
Love in question, yet hope remains.

Hope filled with tomorrows that urge us forward.
As time moves on, hope surpasses all.
When hope diminishes, dreams fade and despair prevails.
Yet when hope flourishes walls are torn down and
Joy seems within our grasp.

While financial markets ebb and flow, the amount of funds
In the bank does little to define how rich one is when
Hope is present.

Hope is the currency of the heart, and love is the purchase.
I have hope in us. Not in the noise of the day to day.
Not in the actions of an ignorant few.
Hope springs eternal, love grows in season or out of season.

Never give away your hope, for when you do, you are unable
To give your love.

my thoughts are the same,its a lonley world out there,

bad thing about close relationships is that sometimes real good guys aren t more lucky than real good girls....both get hurted and learn from the wrong kind of people to forget about their hope and true heart
