Well if you like him give it a chance and send him a mail and ask him to tell you more about himself..you will find out within the first few mails if he is for real or not..
Usually a spammer will not answer the questions you ask him, but he will send a response that has not much to do with the mail you sent him..

Heres the thing it happens frequently a lot of wellnot spammers are here in the forums, which i mean trolls love em or hate em it's a part of the ballgame you just make sure you swing at their fastball and not the 12-6 curve they got....

I can usually tell by the grammar/syntax that makes no sense, the message stating that they think I'm so beautiful and I am the love of their life, and the inclusion of their yahoo email addy/IM id at the end. Yes, they usually choose a name that sounds American enough...but that's the only thing that sounds American about them.
If in doubt, delete it and block them. If they fool me in the first email, the second one always proves it.
