I bought a 12 pack of cupcakes on the fourth of uly. Each had an American flag. Under this amendment, it would have been illegal to throw thgem away.
So my question is, when does a flag...become a flag? 2 in? 6in?
12in? It is indeed a piece of cloth and to see it otherwise is idolatry. I served my country. I stand for it's ideals. But I won't be drawn into worshipping a symbol of it's existance.

Thank you, Ship, for that little piece of news...I would also vote against this. I don't believe in burning our flag just for the sake of doing so, but I do believe in others having the right to do it. I don't want to see it become unconstitutional to do so...that would be wrong. It's not a Freedom if it curtails freedom.

I love the flag of the USA and respect it because of what it stands for to me and millions of others,not to everyone everywhere,this country or elsewhere.I also stand and put my hand on my heart when the national anthem takes place.I don't agree with all our forfathers did or believed.However I beleive they did what in thier time in thier minds was right.Like the fable of the 1st Thanksgiving.I have ancestry in Native American blood.I have been told a different story of that day and beleive it.I also believe we have to move on and not hold grudges againist peoples errors and ignorance in the past.

Yes they do seem to support obama, I however am not saying who my vote is for as I don't talk politics, look what all it has led to so far
I think it is a personal thing myself. Just my opinion. You can google some tv news stations over here too, am sure you can get the gist of what all is going on. And say what you want, after all it will effect everyone.
