lusciousmile: Chris Daughtry's it's not over, makes me melt. I also love Hinder, and then there's this Canadian band, with a blonde, curly haired lead singer. Not sure what they are called.
You must mean Nickelback. Saw them in State College a couple of years ago. A guy I dated gave me VIP passes. They were great too! I love Hinder too. They were in Hershey this summer. I went to my friend's house & listened to them. I think they may have been with 3 Days Grace & Breaking Benjamin. Nickelback & Daughtry have been here too... listened to them in my friend's back yard, as well. We make a party out of it!

Before i came to Europe, i really couldn't stand Rock, but i remember Nickelback was big in Nairobi. They've always been great, and it's because of these kinds of bands, i can actually listen and enjoy rock music, though I don't like metal.

ooby_dooby: The other day I was in a store and a song came on the sound system and I couldn't keep my feet still lol. I'll be damned but I cant remember the name of it. It had a female lead singer and an incredible beat. It wasn't the original I know because I've heard it before by a male singer and it had a slightly slower tempo. Any guesses? I'll know the name if I see it.

ooby_dooby: Did you know that song was banned because it was thought to be somehow related to drugs use though the authorities who banned it didn't know how?
How I miss the Nixon years.........NOT
How can we not forget the Nixon years and the big Peace sign saying he was innocent. Now that is another thread entirely , so I am not going there. 'Night all.
