CALIFORNIA WANTS "FACTORY SPECIAL EMISSION STANDARDS FOR THIER AUTOS (18)
fireliter: Hey California citizens get your Terminator to outlaw open flames of any nature... lighters, matches, Bar-b-que, grills, campfires,hell even the flaming drinks and cheese dishes.
Its not the automotive emissions polluting your state. Its all these damn fires you are unable to control... and another thing if you are forced to rebuild in the same area more than twice you should forfeit /be denied any compensation, federal state or insurance coverage to rebuild again.
come on 3 strikes your out.... whether you possess common sense or a senator in your back pocket or not.
If you receive federal or state funds you should not be able to sell the house for a profit either...

I lived in Southern Cal for 3-1/2 yrs and driving to some of the cities like La etc was a real treat. You could just about slice the smog with a knife.
Maybe they should just simpliy install special emissions around most if not all of the state.
