Hello fellow singles, as another Turkey Day comes and goes I find myself all alone again! But this time even worse, my daughters flew off to Texas to be with their family. A rainy, lonely Thanksgiving well that will sure go down in the memory books. Well the reason for this blog is to see how many other of you are spending today alone (truely alone) and maybe we can matchmake here (obviously only locally due to travel restrictions) who knows maybe even I can find someone who would like to spend Thanksgiving with me also. So lets get going start posting!! And Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I've always been amazed at how lonely such a densely populated are could be or at least feel.

On the positive note, I get to see my mighty 0-11 Detroit Lions on TV today. Wait. Did I say positive? confused

Thank you and as for you well how come there are no photos of you, we would all love to see you and enjoy a face with the wit. Well the compliment is warmly welcomed and believe me if I could find a nice girl I would have done so already, I was married for 11 1/2 years and I have come to realize that there are alot of women in the world today that proclaim what they want and then when they have it they don't even realize it and treat it like CRAP. But maybe just maybe someday I will find the one who will be truly looking just like me and when we find each other she will have all she has ever desired... (I mean ALL) if you know what I mean!

Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for your response.

You are so right. Thousands of people around us on any given day and everyone has blind eyes. It's so amazing that this powerful tool that God gave to us (LOVE) is so under used. We create our own tools and weapons in order to hurt others and we use the hell out of them, who knows maybe one day we will get it right.

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving. And good luck with your GAME!!!!!!

I was supposed to go the the home of my friends parents, but I'm not now. My daughter is though. She spent the night with my friends last night, will go with them and then babysit until about 930pm. So, for most of the day, I'll be alone with the dogs.

But I'm good with that. Just looking forward to seeing my daughter tonight. We bought the "Twilight" book last night and are planning to start reading it together tonight. We read out loud and share books together. IT's lots of fun. My daughter is 13yo, but they're never to old to read to them. We've shared all of the Harry Potter books this way, along with Marley and Me, The Chronicles of Narnia series and many others.

I am so sorry that you are alone today. I am no t from the U.S.A, but I can put myself in your place and understand the feeling.Try thinking of good memories you have had with your Daughters, allow it to make you smile and feel thankful that you had them, and that they are still alive so you can always connect with them. comfort You are obviously a wonderful Dad with a sensitive soul and I think that is beautiful .To all Americans on C.S I want to say Happy Thanksgiving, do have a great day.

yeah, I am not going to be alone but I might as well be. I will be with my Mom, Sister and Daughter. It will be nice but insignificant. I don't care for Thanksgiving anyway.

Anyway, Happy Turkey Day and happy Football games :)

I too am "alone" today.....but most days this is true. It just seems worse on a holiday. My daughter is spending the day with her fiance and his parents...so....old Mom is here....lol.

I was invited to a friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner, but I just don't feel right going. This is a "family" holiday and I always feel like I am intruding for some reason....not their fault, just mine.

Anyway........I'm here.....doing whatever.....but I have decided NO cleaning or housework today of any kind.....it is a holiday you know!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! hug
