I don't know what to say other than I'm sorry. I've had loved ones in my life die, I know how hard it can be to loose somebody that your close too. Do you have anybody you can talk about this too?

Sorry to hear that. I haven't had a boyfriend die, but a close male friend. We were tubing down a mountain with a bunch of other young people and my friends were heading toward a tree. Most jumped to one side, but Tim jumped on the other side and hit his head on a rock and was killed. His girlfriend, my close friend, held him as he was dying. It is never easy. You cry, and try to get through the day the best you can.comfort

Yea, i have people that i could talk and people that would want me to talk to them if they knew how i was feeling. Im just not that comfortable talking about how i feel right now to people that i am close with, if that makes sense.....

Sorry to hear that buddy, they say time heals all wounds but I think what you need to do when you are ready is to find a way to live the fact that she is gone and know in you heart that you made a difference in her life and she in yours. This will become part of who you are now and you want to be a stonger person for it in the end.I hope this helps in some way for you,but try to be strong and don't be afraid to express you feelings about your loss with someone close to you. This is the best advice I can offer someone in your position.

I lost my husband to cancer a little over a year ago. It took me slightly over a year to heal. Give yourself time. I know you weren't married, but obviously you loved her...and grief is grief. The grief process takes time, Jacey. You've been through a lot at a very young age. If you give yourself the time to heal, it will make you a stronger person. If you don't, it could derail your life. You just got your degree and lost a girlfriend to cancer. Take some time to learn who you are now and start building your life...and healing. Hang out here and make friends. Hang out with friends. Be young and free for a little bit while you get over this experience. Time will heal it...give Time the chance to do so.

I'm here if you need someone to talk to about what you've gone through with her.

hug
