I don't have any children, but if I did I think I would rather homeschool my child than send them to public school. There are a ton of resources out there to help you homeschool your child. You can even join with other homeschooling families so that your child has friends that are doing the same thing. I know of at least one program that even has a teacher over the homeschooling students that you can contact, and this group also has activities that get all the kids together to do stuff.
If you are unsure about being capable enough to teach your child there are programs that have everything planed out for you. You can get lesson plans and answers so that its pretty easy stuff for you as the teacher to follow.
I have a niece that will be going into the sixth grade this year that has been homeschooled. She is very smart and her social skills are excellent. It is hard to do for the parent. But it can be done, and just by looking at how my niece has done I can see the benifits.
Well I finally made it back from my 2 1/2 day trip on the train and I'm missing you so much.
I miss my morning coffee. I had to put my own cream and sugar in my coffee the other day on the train. It didn't taste as good as when you would make it for me.
I miss getting a good morning kiss and cuddles. I miss seeing you when you got off work. I miss looking at you and just saying one word and both of us cracking up. Dog.
Its all the little things that add up that I miss the most. I hope your finding everything ok. Remember, your tennis shoes are under the coffee table.
If he's in your area I would suggest you try to meet. A picture doesn't always tell you what the person really looks like, if you know what I mean. There could be a spark when you meet face to face. And you'll never know that until you meet him. I would talk to him on the phone and see how the conversation goes. You can keep it more on the friend side until you two are able to meet up and see what happens from there.
I turned my IM off soon after joining cs and thats the way it stays. If somebody wants to contact me they can send me an email. It just gets too bothersome having that window popping up all the time.
I loved Oregon, very beautiful. I had some pics of it up on my profile a few weeks ago. I plan on heading back there soon. I'll let you know how I like it during the summer. I have to try it out for every season you know.
