Dawn7z: Aren't a lot of people subscribing to The Big Bang theory these days Gillie? Without being religious didn't some type of intelligent being or force have to be behind the happening of the universe. Trying to avoid the word creation.
There is no sound answer to this theory when only two positions are being observed - these two positions being from the yes or no camp limit perception - there are other aternatives which are conveniently overlooked by mainstream religions - the main one of these and the one I personally prefer is that infinity isnt bounded by religious shortcomings - it just is........ ever has been and ever shall be........

simplified - there doesnt need to have been a big bang to explain a 'begining' though, if 6000 yrs were to be accepted, I guess we would need some kind of fairy tale to explain it - the brothers Grimm obviously invented dinosaur skeletons of 1.5 million years age...........
