Supernatural is sometimes natural for some and very unnatural for others.
For the dying who are struggling to breath and in their final moments find breath to utter there last goodbyes this is a supernatural event for those who have watched the months of struggling. For those witnessing the death in the moment of this immediately prior to death happening it appears natural as they were not aware that breathing was not natural for the one dying up until their last moment.
There are cultures who have communed and respected the whole of life that pulses just as their heart beat does. Interweaving and interconnecting to the whole of life that would find losing that connection a very supernatural event because this is all they know. The same could be said for those who are not aware of the connection they have with all things.
Sometimes natural, sometimes super natural. All depends...
What loneliness is or is not will differ to each and every one of us. Describing it therefore will have infinite variances and is highly subjective.
For many, it is a feeling that arises from our own experience/s or conditioning/s where along the way we develop paradigms or beliefs that tell us our lives and interactions with others is meant to be this way or that. Sometimes useful, sometimes not.
Within we are whole and sometimes gaps seem to appear when we are not aware of this wholeness. Perhaps too some experience in our lives cause us to close our inner eyes or ears to that which we are.
Does not mean there are gaps, just that our finite minds lead us to believe that there are. We therefore believe close physical proximity with our loved ones is end all be all. Nothing wrong with that, unless it becomes an obsession and a constant need to fulfill that obsession arises that makes this search for fulfillment a life time vocation.
Interactions with loved ones is important for more reasons then can be discussed here however it will only ever temporarily fill any gaps we might have.
Relationships whether in close physical proximity or not are far more enriching and wholesome when we are coming from the awareness that we have everything we need within.
Perhaps it is more in recognizing that our finite mind which is not separate to the infinite mind chooses to perceive the duality of our existence as polar opposites as it is conditioned to from the beginning. Or we can percieve it as part of the whole neither this nor that. Just is.
We each have a different perception of what is good and evil. So each of us on one or more levels will co-create and manifest the effect of our good/bad deeds accordingly.
Knowledge or lack thereof can therefore either enhance the quality of our lifes journey or cripple it.
What is important as has been said is our perception. We are, as also been said in a previous post, just a drop in the ocean of all that is.
Woven in the tapestry of our individual lives are patterns that define the manifestation of what we believe to be true. Interconnected and interwoven also are the patterns of others individual patterns that will also affect or not the manifestation of what will eventually come to be. Infinite and indefinable by nature.
It is always in a constant state of movement. Inherent in that which is constantly changing however is that which does not change. That is the purest essence of the whole of life, both visible and invisible.
It is in these moments when communing with this essence that the duality of life ceases to exist. We are then able to see Karma in its entirety. A construct in the denser levels of existence that is created in most instances when we are not mindful of our conditioned thought processes.
Depends on how one would define/describe/understand death? Is death an end or a beginning or a process?
We each have our own definition of what death is, as has been demonstrated already on this thread.
If life is a cycle (for some) there is no beginning or end. Perhaps then, to some, it is a merely a transformation as mentioned in some earlier posts.
Therefore what occurs after death will be dependent highly on the way each of us perceive these transformations.
It is said the whole universe is in a grain of sand (or something like that). If one subscribes to this theory, our physical body transforms upon its expiry date, all that is contained in the universe is within that transformation. If our 'other bodies' transform all that is contained in the universe is within this transformation.
It is our awareness or lack of, the transformation process that will give us more/less insight into the processes of life and its cycles.
In saying that, living in the nowness of the moment allows room for the greater awareness of these processes to enter into our consciousness in most instances.
However which way we perceive life and death to be, that is exactly what it will be for us no more no less.
Every night in my dreams I see you, I feel you, That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance And spaces between us You have come to show you go on
Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on Once more you open the door And youre here in my heart And my heart will go on and on
Love can touch us one time And last for a lifetime And never let go till were gone
Love was when I loved you One true time I hold to In my life well always go on
Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on Once more you open the door And youre here in my heart And my heart will go on and on
Youre here, theres nothing I fear, And I know that my heart will go on Well stay forever this way You are safe in my heart And my heart will go on and on
Yes makes sense to me those concerns. Hand made is often far more superior then machine made. Yet we live in a modern word and the demand for speedier processes and more inferior products tends to be favoured more. That way mass production and output means profit margins are higher. You would think it was the other way around but often more than not that is never the case.
I haven't seen that movie. Yet I do agree, finding a way to touch someone else's life is great. Brings to mind the quote from William Courtenay I think it is....
"I expect to pass through this world but once: if therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
RE: Born again experience
