Aren't a lot of people subscribing to The Big Bang theory these days Gillie? Without being religious didn't some type of intelligent being or force have to be behind the happening of the universe. Trying to avoid the word creation.

Ah...but what is God? I agree that some Divine Intelligence created the Universe...or, Multiverse.
My belief is that it was created by thought from the Collective Consciousness, each fragment of which contains a spark of that Divine Intelligence...our soul, or our piece of God within us. So...we created it, and continue to do so.

I think some of us realize that we are not educated enough to get into Physics and other scientific particulars about the universe but it's hard to walk through this life without having some idea/ concept of how the universe came to be.
I don't know much about Carl Jung but believe that we have "eternity" written on our hearts. We subconsciously have an idea of where we came from even if we inadequately express that., but that is what is great about these forums there are so many people out there with all types of intelligence.
