More or less the same as today..screaming kids, nagging women and plonk............Although it was probably cheaper. I don't think they had lawyers in those days..

THESE 2 PLUS SMOKY'S, above ,brilliant. I dont think that there were so many liqidations of husbands needed as women and nen seem to have broad powers of divorce.

what phoenix wrote is pretty true. does anyone wonder why in our time diorve lawyers are rich?

Well, you see, its like this ... For those who have not had the priviledge of many consultations with Divorce Lawyers, and for those who will one day have the priviledge take note of this modus operandi!

... The very First thing the DL does is pull out his Legal Pad and ask you for a list of ALL your assets.

Depending on those assets you own is whether or not he will "handle your case". If he smiles and looks happy then you got enough assets. If he frowns and shakes his head it means you aint got enough.

Its all very similar to a Murder Case ..... depending on how much money you got is how innocent you are. Not enough money means you gonna get a guilty verdict.

Once in my life I found an "Honest" Lawyer ....... behind his desk he had a giant sized photo, framed, of a Great White Shark! When I commented on it - he just grinned and said "Yes, I have a close affinity with them". Now that was a guy I admired for being honest.
