Everyone is right in their own belief system. Obviously, each person's belief system works for them. Why can't everyone just accept that and leave the next guy alone? Whatever works to bring peace into each person's life is right, be it God, Christ, Budda, the Force, a spirit, Allah, or whatever we personally believe.

There is no need to attack each other!! I believe that if many of the people here attacking each other's beliefs were to meet in person, there would be a killing for sure!!

In conclusion, the way I see it is as follows... with a no win situation in trying to impose or defend your views:

According to Venusuranus in his opening post, he believes he is sane because there is no proof of the existence of God. The moment he believes, then that is the moment he is no longer sane.(He should use the word "I" instead of "We" since he is talking about his belief system in the opening post)

According to others who believe in a God or Christ, they are sane because they do have proof of the existence of God or Christ based on their experiences in life. To no longer believe that way, then they would perhaps question their sanity.

Believe and let believe. And although we cannot see into the future, (unfortunately) hopefully, we make (and justly so) a decision that suits our selfs! No attacks... at least not on my front.

HealthyLiving: Al, many who lack understanding may call themselves Christians. Your focus on the wars... I have not this experience therefore I do not have a credible responce concerning this.

Let's talk about what I do have experience in.
You wrote:
That experience is not christ, HL ... it is just a physiological experience of energy, instigated by your thoughts. Seriously. You can be in awe all you want, that doesn't make it god, let alone christ.
Seriously christ is no more special than any other experience by any name, by any other religion. Drop the religious curtain and that experience gets named my "self". It is Christ, Al
I will share 1 instance, of thousands I have experienced.

The voice directed me to exit the interstate, told me which truckstop to go to, told me where to park. I got out of the truck and my feet took me to the fuel island, where a man was seated, (whom I did not know was there, I had not seen him) who said to me, "Hi, I have been waiting for you, will you pray for me?" I anointed his head with oil and began to pray. He stopped me suddenly. "What do my eyes look like, are they foggy?" I told him they were clear. "My eyes are always foggy", he said. Then the man leaped into the air, jumping and shouting, "I've been delivered! I've been delivered!" When he calmed down some, I learned he had been strung out on drugs, was walking down the road on Sunday, when a car stopped, picked him up, took him to church and he asked Jesus in his heart. I showed up the Wednesday night following. The man was waiting for me to come pray with him that he may receive deliverance. The man was full of JOY after receiving deliverance!

This did not happen because I thought it out through my energies.
It happened because there is POWER in the blood of Christ and in His Name!

Hiya sweetie... amazing stories hug..... I am afraid you are throwing pearl to swine though, like those who could witness Jesus carry out healings and miracles and still not believe, some are just blinded.. we wont make them see, not by logic anyway.. sigh..

I don't understand...I represent myself as what I am. I have no need to argue, either with b, or with you. We all make choices in our life, in our beliefs, in our toast for breakfast. These choices create alternate universes. That is what I believe, and that is all I meant by my statement....

Thanks for your interest though...beer

BnaturAl: AND THEN YOU SAID
On the same page no less, seems you have a poor memory and instant denial when it comes to your own attacks (made wthout any proof I might add). You even added another attack, after that, referencing the individual. ....Just the facts.

Why is it christians are "allowed" to be demeaning, without proof, to disparage individuals for simply presenting facts and get away with it? Then when they don't like whats being said, when it is just facts and proof, they report you en masse to mods to have you banned because they can't refute the evidence, they attack or censor the person or persons presenting it. Christian censorship has always been self righteously driven. So much for their religious freedom complaints. So much for whinning about christians not bashing others

You are showing and proving you own hippocracy and your own brand of bigotry as well as your tendancy to be in denial about your abuses.

Frankly I don't care if you call me names, it shows your own lack of knowledge. What is appauling is the hippocracy and bigotry of it all, pretending to be kind, sweet people while you demean others who present factual points, rather than debate the facts and issues....

I will likely be banned for providing proof of what christians do and have been doing on this planet for 2000 yrs and getting away with it, including todays revealations of christian hippocracy.... christians resort to shutting you up any way they can.

Aside from HL, who actually debated the issues, most of the rest of christians have come back with little less than ego driven innuendo posts and attacks. so,.... I should probably goodbye now It won't be long before the christians have me "modified" and censored again even though again it is they who demean individuals and call them names without any proof to back it up.

Along with many other vitamins, such as vitamin C, even the FDA finally had to endorse it, as much as they hated to admit it, there was too much proof as to its healing power!professor

Spiritually, we can not use logic to prove it, as its very existance is purely illogical.

We were all created, blinded and deaf to spiritual things. This was done with a purpose, that we would seek to have the blinders removed, in finding the energy with removes them.

I am not here to say that anyones belief is wrong. All beliefs are a form of self-discipline which brings growth and improvement in the individual. Although Al and Trish and many others proclaim athiesm, they still have a belief system of unity with nature and all things. Perhaps it has not reached its perfection in their understanding, yet it is, as they grow and mature through the journey of life. I choose to see different stages of spiritual beliefs as stepping stones, leading towards eternal unity with all things. Some of their beliefs have helped me to gain understanding of many of the things I have wondered about, in my own spirituality. I am thankful for them and the love I have for them. I do not like the arguing on the threads, as I believe we should present everything in a loving manner. But this is who I am, perhaps more mature in knowing how to live in love, but it has been a long journey to reach this point. I will not disrespect those who see things differently than I do. It just is not right to do, and it would grieve my spirit to do such a thing. I choose to live in JOY, sharing LOVE in all I say and do.

It is okay to disagree and it is glory to a man to overlook an offense.
Sometimes we have to lay down our pride, even apologize when we are not in the wrong, to gain peace and unity. Be the better man and let it go!

It is never wrong to believe. As long as it is right for you. Leave others out. No matter what your belief is!!
