Its a symbolic nature for me. The Matsu represents victory and long life.

I thought of this tree, and that tree, the sapling, the birch
they all crossed my mind, I'm now in a lurch.
This tree is me, that one is too,
what in the world is a forest to do.
I've bent with the winds, has strong redwoods do
I've sheltered as evergreens, when the blowing snow flew.
Have even sweetened lips, of sugar maple dew.
Violent storms I have faced, my branches been thrashed,
Have taken a beating as strong as an ash.
With all of my pondering, this tree, or that,
I cannot chose just one, of a forest begat.

I would be a Southern Magnolia. Sometime I bloom. Sometimes I fall apart. I only exist in a limited area.

druidess6308: what one would you be?

I have learned to be like the Willow and bend with the wind, yet never break. My branches may dip towards the ground at times, but they shelter many from the storms. I know someone who reminds me of an Oak, strong and sure, my strength to lean on, with deep roots.

So, what tree do you think you're most like?
im going to have to agree with you....willow i love them they are beautiful..

I would be a Red Cedar.

Tall, light colored with a wood so special that all good things are carved off and a great fantastic smell.

I would be the tree my parents planted in the front yard when they moved to this house 20 years ago. It's just a normal tree but it's their love tree and it has their initials carved in it from 20 years ago. They have been married 26 years.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for but whenever I think tree that's the tree I think of. The love tree. I want that love and I want my own love tree.

Mindy, that's a great story. I'm glad you shared it here. And there's no wrong type of answer to the question. This was fine.

A crazy question because I've been OUT of my tree for years.

And yes, if I fell in the forest, I'd make a sound: "oh, for crying out loud! I can't believe this has happened! Bummer! Well, I'm firewood now."
