I have learned to be like the Willow and bend with the wind, yet never break. My branches may dip towards the ground at times, but they shelter many from the storms. I know someone who reminds me of an Oak, strong and sure, my strength to lean on, with deep roots.

So, what tree do you think you're most like?
Oak is strong but acidic, i would say maple when things turn bad my color radiates.
druidess6308: Besides the obvious connotation, JB, would you care to expound? Btw, I do love their softness. And are they a tree? I'll take it, though.
I think I would be a scrub oak... at first glance, not terribly impressive, but as time goes by a source of shade in the summer and warmth in the winter. (along with dropping a few well placed nuts on some heads)
