Yes but the goal actually is to meet someone and end up being taken...otherwise...if we all stayed single...what's the point????
People date others from here...end up in serious relationships and some even marry...but will stay for the forums and because of the friendships they have made...but always indicate that in their profiles.....

I see, point taken. To each their own, but in the event that I did meet someone on here and enter into a serious relationship, I wouldn't stay on a "singles" site. Having said that, I don't think poorly of those that don't agree and stay on here, but for me........couldn't and wouldn't do it. I'm kind of old fashioned like that I guess huh? To a fault probably. Anyway, thanks for the info. Makes sense.

I guess in my case, "wild" means more spontaneous than anything. I like being the individual I am & don't usually make very many concrete plans, since my daughter's gone. Plans usually don't work out for me anyway.
My best friend's daughter has dubbed us "the fun-seekers"!

I can relate. Either because of my job or my family or something unforseen.......my plans are usually either cancelled or altered. But it's nice sometimes to have so many irons in the fire.....every now and then.

Another nice thing for me is that I'm not afraid to do things on my own. If I go out, my friends are there & they know me. If I want to go to a movie alone, I do it. If I want to go shopping, I know how to drive!

Actually, my friend & I were discussing this same issue. I came to the conclusion that men don't like strong, independent women. In my experience, it just seems that most men tend to go for the women who need someone to lean on, either emotionally or financially. When a woman is comfortable in her own skin, men seem to run.
