Why do we choose to met people online instead of Out There? (85)
LACali: Because even though I live in the place I grew up and should be comfortable with local culture there are so many things I don't like and since I can't move I thought maybe I'd meet some people with different values online. You've lived here you have some idea what I'm talking about.
I have a date for New Year's just because I'm tired of not going out and he lives nearby but I'm not really excited about it. I'm starting to go out again with locals but my hopes aren't high.

California is a strange place of many different cultures and people. You live in an area where millions of people live, but you can be alone within that space. I loved my time in California. I hated my time in California. It was wonderful and horrible.
You can, for sure, meet people with different values on line. Real different. Some good and some really bad.
You need to find a way to be able to move....

I think this is what all of us are hoping for to find someone on line and to make in work in "real life". I have made some lasting friends from my on-line discussions. I haven't met Miss Right yet
Well who knows maybe there isn't a Miss Right or Mister Right sometimes it almost feels like part of a fairytale that we have been spoon fed from birth. All our lives looking for this elusive perfect fit for us that we pass off a lot of candidates on the way. Just an idea Who knows. Maybe there is no "Right" when we aren't ready for it. Just and idea or maybe we never find that person.

That's true but dang it go out and live open your heart up and take the pain with the joy. Has to be a time to not be afraid. A lot of threads about fear tonight. Life flys by and then where are we hiding behind our nice safe existences?

I know I am a very trusting person and believe others are truthful and honest. I try to believe in what every woman tells me. I refuse to worry about the scammers and con people. I know she is out there looking for me. He is looking for you. Keep looking.
