yeah i was dumped by txt from a cork man would u believe but next day he wanted me back tru txt but it backfired on him as i wouldnt take him back thumbs up for me

i agree with cape doctor. i think its mad to meet somebody for sole purpose of finishing with them. dont waste their or your time i reckon.
if it was out of the blue i think it be bad but if you were having an argument by the ever dangerous textual sense and it ends up with oh forget it so! i dont see it as bad. i try to text as little as possible as it only leads to misunderstandings if things get anyway heated.

Yes yes yes!! Except that a text is far too much communication - it leaves you open to them replying and you having to get into a conversation about your decision never to see them again. Best just not even communicate. I recommend changing your number, your name, your address and hiding for a few months. Is that cowardice? I think its the most sensible option!
Well Mayo midfielder, I agree with most of your post, but I think the duration of the relationship should play a big part in the method of ending it. If its a short fling then the silent treatment is probably the best way, I'd its been a few months then a face to face confrontation is appropriate, a few years then its a serious boardroom style meeting & if its marriage then leave it to the courts hahaha!!!

but it shows that they have some respect for you and its more personal that way,i know its hard to comfront someone and say it,but its not right to do it by text,its just an easy way out.

What can i say,this post was put here to ask peoples opinions on a certain subject,everyone does it,if you dont like the thread then you have your opinion,thats the whole meaning of it.But if someone has a problem with me,then talk to me about it,its nicer that way
I do think it is a Cr*p way to dump someone, doesn't show much depth of character. Think she did you a favour though, Better a text than a letter from a Divorce Lawyer a few years down the road!
