The point of the poll was to see what you thought. And to be realistic downsizing the military is the last thing any country should do. Now I agree with the rest of these comments, however take away what we have in the Armed Forces or reduce it... it will only cause problems. But I do appreciate your opinion

I honestly think, Obama is going to turn us into a socialist country. He's gonna open up the flood gates at the Mexican border, which will help Mexican's have a better life, which is great, but it will destroy our wages, and American's chances at getting jobs, drugs will run even more rampid, so will all the gangs associated with it.

People will be able to live a better life, off welfare then you can working for a living, so even more people will drop out of the workforce, but the jobs will be taken by Mexican's so the overall veiw by the news will be that the jobs losses are not that bad(a false reality) and I'll just stop there..

I also say he will cut ties with Isreal or at least try too, but I won't even get into that now..

And why would anyone want him to downsize our military? Do you think the terrorists want to sit down and have a nice conversation with us over dinner? No, thay want to wipe us off the face of the earth as well as Isreal, our biggest allies in the middle east and don't care who they have to kill to do it...including themselves!

Democrats are know for spending on more social service programs and raising taxes to pay for it. The more money a person earns the more he'll pay in income tax. What's a working man's incentive for trying harder? None! There will be very rich or very poor and that's how socialism works. He already said he was raising cap gains tax to 27%. Has anyone seen any relief from this multi billion dollar bail out. I still can barely afford to pay my mortgage and I'm sure there will be no bail out for me. If the poor people desperately need help they should get it but why should I pay for the lazy people and scammers to have a better life.

I say lower all taxes and cut out unneccessary spending. That may help stimulate the economy. When they stopped giving welfare to people for each child and limited it to two it's amazing how quickly people who couldn't afford it stopped having babies. Opening up the borders with Mexico would be one of the worst things Obama could do to this economy. There's a procedure for becoming a citizen of this country and it should be followed. I know this comment is not going to be very popular but I shouldn't have to press 1 for english. It should be the default and children should be required to learn english as a first language if they want to live here.
