wildkitty: well, i've always been told about the cusp thingy, and neither actually bfits me i think i was born under some sign we never heard of..

There is another chart I've seen...it has three different rings, and one of them has 13 signs. I forget where I put that, and I forget where the other one fits in amongst the ones we know...but it's possible you resonate more with that charting of the zodiacs.

Yes, this is a passion of mine, can you tell? laugh doh

I must have things cleaned up but I hate doing it all. I'm okay with the picking things up and doing dishes but forget the rest. I have more important things to do. So, I pay someone to clean for me every two weeks. Damm, that reminds me. She's coming over tomorrow. I gotta get everything in order before she gets here.doh

That part would bother me if I wasn't totally comfortable with her. The good news is it forces me to keep the clutter down and forces me to put everything away.

Now if I can just figure out how to teach the dogs to put their toys back in the toy box, and wipe their paws when they've been outside...

No, it's not evil. It's a science, really, to do a natal chart...takes very advanced mathematic calculations. It's just charting how the stars were aligned when you were born, and how that affects you. Also, which "houses" they fall into, and those "houses" rule different aspects of your life. There's really quite a bit that goes into it. I've studied it for years because one of my parents' best friends did this as a hobby, so we all had our charts done very young. It was amazing how accurate it was. wine

Some do...it depends on how conservative the church is...which is what drove me totally away from it. I'm very open minded, felt that things were true that were different from what churches taught (my definition of God is very different, for example), and the narrow-mindedness and intolerance shown by many. But, I do realize that not all churches, nor all Christians, are like that. Some are very open-minded, and I know a lot of Christians that read their horoscopes, and know the basics of their signs.

I just tend to hang out with a group of Spiritualists who study different theosophies and use crystals, tarot, and other divination methods, and study all of the "new age" stuff. That all resonates very peacefully within me.

For me...to each their own. One has to do what feels right for them. wine

Most of the important people in my life tend to go for the nontraditional spiritual paths. Although, I never did get the hang of astrology except to know I'm a Sag - something about a double Sag with many years in Pluto.confused (which thank God are over)

rolling on the floor laughing Yes...Pluto moved into Capricorn. Double Sag usually means either Sun/Moon or Sun/Ascendant.

I'm double Leo (Sun/Moon) and triple Fire (Sag ascendant/rising sign).

Maybe I should start an astrology thread tomorrow. rolling on the floor laughing This one has gotten way OT. laugh

And I know it's my own fault, too. doh
