As I watched devastation and death on the tv I was absolutely gutted!

Is a real tragedy,many candles lit and prayers offered in church this morning for all those effected.

Its horrible. I have friends and family in the areas concerend. I think that everyone is ok, but its so fast, someone that is ok one minute is gone the next. Its incredible. This is the worst fire we have ever had, and this is a fire prone state. Just as an example, one of the most famous news readers in this state, who was the main newreader when I was growing up, has died. His wife too. I feel for everyone that has been affected, but I can't help but hope that it doesn't get any closer than that to me. (I don't mean physically, I am not in any danger where I am, I mean friends and family)
Also give some thought to the north of Australia where, ironically, towns are being devestated by floods.

It is such a tragedy. Devastation beyond belief.

Good Morning Buzzy, Yes, I do agree, we do see devastation
right here each year. With floods, fires, tornadoes, ice
storms, etc. Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am. I
don't have a lot of personal things but I have so much
more. First the love of my Creator, then love of family
and friends. Things like what the families in Australia
are going through, kind of brings the important things
to the front of my thoughts and makes me realize how very
important it is to stay in contact with our loved ones.

Was unaware of this tragedy until now.I will be praying all this week for all involved,such devastation is always so sad to hear about.I always have another blessing to count when I hear of these and I am not 1 who is involved. To those on CS affected in anyway by the fires
