maybe what u say is true, maybe we do come bk as baby's, but each time we come bk we become moor and moor inlightend, maybe life is just a lerning curve so that when were ready we move on to the nxt plane of existence,
theres many idea's, but know one knows, the only thing that in certain is one day we'l find out
snugglebunnie: I think if someone is in severe pain they welcome "seeing the light at the end of the tunnel" which in my opinion are the chemicals in their brain taking on new dimensions.
I believe that when we die our spirit becomes a new baby.
However, when the new body dies does it take all the spirits it has accumulated into another body. Just how many spirits can a body hold.
Have you ever felt "I've been here before but I don't know when". I have when I was a child.

Maybe it is the path we each walk. We are here to give to each other. We might cross the path of someone who just needs a smile or eye contact. We are all equals in this life. It is how we live it. I would like to say I have a small life, but the people who are in it have made a difference in the big one. I have been honored meeting these people and they have honored us. All who pass through this life leaves a lasting impression. My mother would say; "You are born alone and you will die alone" Someone will be waiting for birth and death.
The day before my Grandpa died, I went out to the garage where his workshop was to give him a glass of ice tea. When he seen me come in, he grabbed a chair and sat down (I knew then something was really wrong). He had me look him straight in the eye and promise that I would help my mom look after Grandma when he died. Of course, and with all my heart I made that promise. The next night he passed away.........
Dusty45: A rather fearful question to some, but curious...
I was wondering what goes through the mind of a person who is consciously ready to make the transition, those that are ready to pass on.
Do you think that they are not able to focus anymore? Are they through with manifesting or making things in this life as we know it?
Do some of you believe that there is life beyond this world as we understand it?
Or, do you believe that this is the only life experiece that is available?
In most cases, I think life is like a torch. starts out burning bright but at the end slowly fades away.
I think that usually.. after someone has come to accept the end..they are just too tired and ready to go, This is a fairly short life and we have to endure a hell of a lot of pain and sickness throughout it. With the condition of the human body, I really couldn't imagine living 200, 300 years or forever.
But for those that follow the Bible.. if you actually believe what it says, the dead know nothing. so then yes.. it is the end... Untill the resurrection.
I know many will argue this point, because they don't want to believe, but look at it like this. IF.. the dead go on living from the time of death, why would there need to be a resurrection? But the good part of it is.. if the dead know nothing..then the being has no idea how long they have been dead before the resurrection! just like- we have no clue how long we sleep each night till we wake up and look at the clock.
I refuse to fear death!! I have even partially written my own eulogy already. and is in the hands of my Daughter along with my will and living will.
In short- "Do not grieve for me for I have passed on to a place where there is no more suffering and pain, Do not cry for me, but rejoyce" I also gave her a cd with the upbeat songs that I want played.
I find it so interesting your thoughts on the subject. See, that wasn't so bad, was it...
Everyone has their special thoughts about what happens to them when it's their time. Not quite sure why it popped into my head. (?)
You have put a lot of thought into this - rasgumby, and I admire that. Our being here is of significance and this way, rasgumby, you are showing that you value what life here has given you.

one thing thats confused me is, i belive theres life on other planets, there has to be, u would be mad to think out of all the starts and galaxy that were there only life in existence lol, so if there is a heaven, would itbe the same heaven for all the other life on all the other planets?

The answer: (yeah yeah yeah) We 'make' what we perceive. () So, in that frame of 'mind'. If you are into your life on another planet, then -- so be it. Who knows what the power of the Mind can do. Like I might say to another - if one believes in hell then that just may be their reality when they make a transformation. But, it wouldn't happen to be mine. I figure that I might just as well have peace about myself now and my ideas about the change I make when my body falls away. It seems in each moment is have here now I can believe it is either a great moment or a bad one. If I believe it is great 'now' then what I have to look back on will be good moments.
I believe 'Heaven' and 'hell' are metaphors for the results of what we manifest for ourselves here. I think our perceptions change with every passing moment, here.
I think 'Heaven' is a metaphor for the beauty, joy Love and all that is good.
So, if there is life on other planets then metaphorically there would be a heaven and hell there as well. jmo.

its possible that hel could be the very place in wich we live now, and when we have lerned enough then we are alowed to go into the next relm, if we are bad or not inlightend enough then we go on to repeat another life untill we are ready,
wich is pretty much what i said b4 hehehe but,i would like to think that there is somthing when we die,
but if what i say was right, then why do we have ghosts, if we do, whats the story on them, they refuse to go to the next life and refused to re live a life down here?

I have no idea about ghosts, (what an imagination you have... - that's a good thing)
I have my ideas that this body we have is just a means of communication used to understand more about who we are and to help us to remember about Spirit. Could it be that other realms are more paths and interesting imaginings that we perceive in different ways to, again, understand who we really are - Spirit? After all, I think we just may have eternity to dabble in this. <smile>
at this point we may be as close to concsious\unconsious enlightenment as we can experience on this plane, our mind\spirit may be processing all accumulated knowlage and abstract thought as to depart to our next plane of existance, where we may recieve further instruction. yes i believe in after life. god bless all who have departed or are about to.

I'll tackle the part that's easiest for me first. Yes, I believe that there is life beyond this human life. To me the soul, or spirit, is energy that is never created nor destroyed, and lives on. I have no doubt of that. I have several loved ones who have crossed over, or changed worlds as the Native Americans say it, and who stay near to guide me. My late husband is one, and he still touches me to let me know it with a signal we arranged before he crossed over.
Actually, it's the only part I can answer. He was the only one I've seen go through a prolonged disease process and die, and he was on Morphine and Ativan, and occasionally Haldol, so he wasn't focusing here anymore anyway...and I don't know how much was in preparation for his soul leaving his body, and how much was the drugs for his pain.
Good question, though, Dusty. And not one I find fearful, for it would only be scary if I thought it was truly the end of all life, rather than just the end of life in this human body.

also much of what i was describing in your tread of a couple days ago in part relates to this topic. CRISS, do check that tread out, i think we have similar questions about such things.

I have similar ideas, Dru. For some reason, we may have some kind of awareness beforehand that we are making a transition.
