and prices have not dropped accordingly across a whole rage of consumables- together with trillions getting pumped in to stimulate economies - a inflationay mix

I'll confess, I never thought we would see $3.00 gas...and here we are below $2.00. Works for me...of course we're wrecking the environment.

Gold is $1220 today, a record price. And the gold crunch hasn't hit yet. Most "gold" that is bought and sold on the market is paper, not backed by real metal.

It's another ponzi scheme, dependant upon more gold being found and brought into the market, which isn't happening. The only gold that actually exists is metal in your hand.
And oil is over $76 today, which is more than it was two years ago. So much for the myth that prices would go down. And just wait until you see the price when BP goes bankrupt due to clean up costs in the Gulf of Mexico, along with their subsidiaries like ARCO and AM/PM gas stations.

I pay the high prices because I have to, but I make each and every trip out count. I stay at home a lot because I can't afford to fill up my tank multiple times a week. I've got enough to keep me busy at the home anyways.
