Okay everyone pay attention here please. Pick up your monitor (whole computer if on a laptop and shake real hard up and down or side to side (whichever is easier). The screen is just like an Etch-a-Sketch and the idiocy will vanish just like that. Barring this of course violent enough shaking will disconnect the monitor (hopefully destroying the cord) and when you get a replacement in a few days (due to the supply and demand ideal and the sudden increase in demand for cords) they should all have been returned to the asylums from whence they escaped.
