Someone commented on my Misterprude vid on Youtube and thought it was for real... oh brother. I was actually making fun about people who are uptight about bad words on TV.

You were not...That's just an excuse...Admit it....
Yeah, there are people like that. They really should loosen up. I recommend a six pack or two.

RicoWest: Another radio ham gave me the 3rd degree once when I said I think bad words should be legal on TV and radio. What a sorehead he was.
I see that many english dictionary's now define the most popular swear words. Not internet dictionarys but proper book type dictionarys. They are only letters after all. I think that swear words are the least of society's problem. People should lighten up. I use them myself from time to time. They are good stress relivers. When you hit your thumb with a hammer, I'm afraid the words "oh sugar" just does not cut it.
Some guy let the great big secret out a couple of years ago... he said the reason why we don't want cussing on the airwaves, is because it weakens the shock value of bad words. Sort of like what happened with "that sucks"... I don't know anyone over 70 who says it.

I got what you meant but just didnt find it funny,,,,
I teach English mainly to adults, but they all want to to be able to cuss in English! I have a couple of taboo language lessons which always go down a storm
However, in reality, I don´t often swear and I dislike swearing when used in everyday conversation.
