Just wondering who will be the next famous person to die or commit suicide ?

God knows but we lost a brilliant one today

I loved him, in all his many roles. He was genuinely funny, I saw him interviewed a few times. Like all Comedians and funny people, he was a sufferer of Depression. Very sad.

Dabbling with hard drugs didn't help him , surprise surprise same Auld story ..when will people learn . I'm very sympathetic to depression as I've a close family member who suffers severe , but mixed with drugs , well enough said

Dirk Its scary ! He was the same age as me, I still think of that as quite young . I still have hopes and dreams and love to laugh and I always believe things will get better when I am in a dark space.
Depression is a killer, I view it as Cancer of the mind. It distorts thinking, everything becomes hopeless, sufferers beat themselves up, turn to Drugs, Alcohol instead of Medication and therapy .
The distorted thinking serves to alienate them from their loved ones. They cant feel love or hate, it is an illness that is cruel in its intensity.
It makes the senses numb, except for a self loathing and a long tunnel where there is no light at the end. Everything that gave pleasure no longer does and the personality fractures and becomes ashamed of the illness itself. It is so sad to know that he had a loving wife and children. Sorry for going on.... I am just so sad for him.

Taxman Jim Carey, yep possibly he is very funny too, and Ben Stiller, I could name alot of Actors/Actresses who suffer with Bipolar Depression and severe clinical Depression. The Stigma remains in this country but not so much in U.S. For some weird reason I think Joan Rivers... she does suffer Depression but has a hard time facing into the inevitablility of ageing which is a Mortal sin in Hollywood.
