I was wondering what some methods are that one uses to maintain hope?
When my big tragedy happened, I made sure to take some time. I wanted to heal, and get my head right. I wanted to be a whole person, and be better should the next come. It would seem that in that process, while it took a while, I did heal. To be able to heal, it cost me my ability to socialize. I sometimes feel borderline feral. I can't seem to relate, I know not where to go to meet people. Even if I did, I'd likely be unable to engage or relate. I'd greatly appreciate one to at least chat with. I am currently at the decade mark since the tragedy, and a large amount of loss has again fallen on this one to mark the occasion. I am about empty of hope, and can no longer find reason to fight...
Being with yourself, you should not feel loneliness. You must love and enjoy yourself (love your own company) perhaps of being literally lonely because you are longing for someone to love you. That is a horrible feeling, (being alone) but when you appreciate the smallest thing beyond yourself, you will never be lonely. Don't be lonely, don't be so caught of having approval from someone for you to feel worthy; you yourself are enough for self worth and approval.
One day, there will be the right person for you.
Don't feel lonely, enjoy your own moments.
After all, at the end of this journey; we are all alone.
Before everyone learns to be alone; we are get used to it.

Not having female friends can certainly make loneliness more difficult. I can clearly understand how you feel. Seeing all the films with women together during life's toughest times makes me long for such. You are not alone.

i know how u feel. i was left for another woman feb just gone and there was no reason behind it. she came onto him so he left me. we were together almost 12yrs have 2 kids together were engaged and preparing to buy a house this yr. at first i tried to understand how he could just leave that easy but he even told me his choice had nothing to do with our relationship, that i was a great girlfriend, but wouldnt stay coz he discovered feelings for someone else. for the first wk we were still friends but now he cant even look at me let alone talk to me. hes changed very much from the person i knew and although i believe i dont want him back as a bf i still miss him as my best friend. when i feel lonely its compounded by the fact that he moved in with her immediately so hes not lonely and wont even miss the friendship we once had. i'm still confused but i dont like to think about it coz it wont change whats happened, our relationship was so solid, like a fairytale everyone said, but obviously not. i'm up late every
What is a good guy. I am very respectful and never pushy. Never lie, and only want one woman. My girls tell me I tend to be too nice and it makes folks wonder. So be it. I will just leave versus arguing. I stop the truck by the entrance and I will go out in the vast mall jungle parking lot and bring the truck up. I enjoy doing things like that for a woman. If I am too nice well, so be it. What is a good guy.
