lost path

my mind is drowning in thoughts
with very little questions
building up inside me
is a dread of being alone

i miss her alot but feel lost
the lost of clarity and lost of purpose
i feel alone with out her
yet i tell myself il find my way

but it isn't as easy
as counting from 1 to 3
as i thought it should be

i feel ive lost my footing
on my own path i wish i can regain it
when i feel my own come to pass

this poem is about the break up of a woman ive been with for over 3 years and 10 months now that we broke up i feel all alone and lost

Nice write, tho I feel your pain, and walked this same path, times over, so I reccomend to just take a short time to heal, and dont look at the problem face to face, Look towards, You end goal in Life, Look at the finish line, not the obsticles along the way, focus on the Finish Line, the rest will be easier to walk on by... hope this helps

Grieving takes time....and almost four years is a long time to have to adjust to...change and loss.
Poetry helps, and .....
I've lost my footing....explains perfectly the emotional turmoil...but it will get better...just takes time. You're on the right path, just take it one day at a time....Niah

I heard that they did a study on this. Oh I know go figure what the heck haven't they studied. Anyways they say it takes ten weeks to get over a break up. Don't ask me I just heard it on the radio..nice poem..you will get over sooner and find another. then the cycle begins again.

i feel the pain,but be strong and face the new world,,if its yours it will always be yours no matter what happen..cheer up man,time to venture the world...very nice poem and nice way to share such missery,theres always tomorrow ok,,wanna go for a drink with me?but just to let you know first,im a great drinker,we can finish a barrel of toxic drink
