my search

time i searched and searched
for the contribution i want to make
for all my life i struggled to find it
for today i think ive found what i searched for

the outdoors the tall trees
i imagine myself immersed among
the collection of green leaves
imagineing the falling leaves
with the droplets of water
touching my feet

i found the work of forester
although ive no experiance
i feel the urge to go
to try set my life plan
on that worthy goal

Hi Scarwolve...this is the first poem I've read of yours and I really like it. Being a forester would be a great occupation. cheers

Hi, scarwolve,
How exciting! Setting the goal is the first step toward success. May the work involved in becoming a forester go well!

Good for you scarwolve....I was working on a piece about the tall kauri today, and I see trains laden with tree trunks every day...we need trees, and people to car for them....hope you make it. Niahgrin yay

There are lots of things that can be done in the woods,
mushroom picking, bow hunting, walking - taking care of them would be a really worthwhile occupation. The amount of trees mature and otherwise is awesome here in the States, it's one of the first things that is highly noticeable. Ireland and England seem so bare by comparison, yet they were once blanketed in forest. Good for you scarwolve and well expressed.

thumbs up bouquet
