House

I turn the key and push the door
I step into mystery and holiness

Moving shadows, dancing curtains, a noisy hinge
Are suggesting she lives here in loneliness

The white dress, the slippers, the empty shoes
are speaking of long absence and emptiness

In the bedroom, beside the bed, in a draw
The stockings, the perfumes, the tenderness

"She's not here" I tell myself, I know for sure
I saw her off and went away Her Loveliness
