Airport

A suitcase packed, a taxi called
We sit waiting, eyes filled with tears

The seat confirmed, the visa ends
We reflect and face our worst fears

A glass wall blocks my way and
Life is cut into parts with shears

A word of love is said but now
Only roaring engines she hears

Plane airborne, wheels off runway
Among the stars she disappears

visa/permits/immigration/ yes if you cross the borders on CS, I'm afraid red tape and paper work becomes a living nightmare...
Hope fully she will return....or you will visit....and it will get sorted, one way or the other....airports okay to say 'hello,' but not 'goodbye.'

Thanks Niah, Thanks Goodguy. But this was 9 years ago. She was Chinese and among stars she disappeared.

Hi, Asiaman40,
The parting is such sad sorrow when we don't get to decide who stays in our earthly world. But, oh, the brilliant starlight they leave behind!
