I liked the poem, maybe because I’m no stranger to the second last verse

Thank you LA for reading my poem,I know there is more than a few people who can relate to this poem.......the point is if your on this site...try to be sensible,do not let something good go...because of pride or egotistical bs.....

Very nice job ng9!
I think many can relate.
And I think this stanza says it all ~~
"That is a sign the person is stuck They cannot move on,no such luck So just keep moving, and wish them well Even if it sometimes hurts like hell"
Even though it can hurt like hell, if you're not mutually in the same place the relationship will go nowhere fast.. I love how you add "and wish them well."
That's beautiful because even though it may hurt to let go, wishing that person well frees both people to be where they're honestly at.

Thank you quietstorm,I wanted to share this poem because,it really does not pertain to age, whether your 20 or 60,there is a point in your life when,it is better just to give a person a chance, instead of hiding what you are really feeling...we all have been hurt once or twice in our lives....give in,you never know that person can be THE ONE.....

I agree with you 100% niah,if the person is stuck on a one way street, when can you even hit a highway with multiple lanes......sometimes it is just better to take the exit.... thank you for your wonderful comment....
