Judgment Day

Life is not but what we make we never say life’s a big mistake.
We look for love and for fame it’s all in the way we play the game.

We call our shots we make our bets and hope it’s one we won’t regret.
But all too soon life’s games at end and now comes the time we have to defend.

For all our rights and all our wrongs in everything that’s going on.
It doesn’t matter were we are in our home
or in our car.

In a Bus or on a train even on a boat or plain
Chances are we won’t get far when our names are called afar.

You’ll here the tone or maybe a bell.
Will it be heaven or maybe hell? No one knows and that’s for sure what really happens when we step through that door.

But it is a trip we’ll all have to make like it or not that trip we must take.
So now we set in awe and wonder see the lighting clap the thunder.

Hoping that we didn’t stray from our loving fathers ways. Because if we did there’ll be hell to pay.
When we come around to our judgment day.

lonewolf001, well said..."Hoping that we didn’t stray from our loving fathers ways" is about the best we can do IMHO. Thanks! ;-)

We surely do not know what's going to happen to us and there are chances we won't make it to our own homes in the end. So the option is to look forward to something good that's going to happen, otherwise there's no way our peace of mind's going to survive at all. Making optimistic estimates and hoping for our estimates to prove right is the only option. Cheers.
