Once upon a time
in a far away land
lived a happy prince who had
all he wished he had

Only one thing was missing
to make his life complete
a very lovely princess
beautiful kind and sweet

His big heart was filled with love
love he wished to give
he only had to find her
and find her he did

She was all that he was looking for
and right from the start
he gave her all the love he had
from the bottom of his heart

To make her the happiest queen
became his life's sole goal
but soon she turned into a witch
and tried to possess his soul

This he could not tolerate
it was a hefty price
he packed his pride and went away
to seek some sound advice

He was advised not to give up
to try again and again
because it is a well known fact
not all princesses are the same

As time went by and hope was gone
he was prepared to admit
that under such condition
he would never again commit

Now older and afraid to love
he changed his main goal
he says he'd rather be alone
than compromise his soul
