SUGAR & RAINBOWS
she rains on my heart.
gently like fire in my soul.
turning into ghosts of who we are.
grazed by the birds and clouds.
don't you see the light i hold inside of me.
shedding skin just to watch me bleed.
you are my world of stars.
holding on wishing away all the pain and scars.
lighting the fire inside my soul.
trust me i will never let you go.
even though sometimes its not about sugar and rainbows.
oh my love show me the way to you.
