Silver Night
SILVER NIGHT
Stay a while with me my love
While the new moon strokes the night
I'll whisper what you mean to me
Till the dawns soft light
The sweetest music I have heard
Is the rhythm of your breath
If I could no more hear it
My soul would be bereft
Lay your hand upon my heart
to feel it's quickened beat
Brush your lips so sweet and warm
Accross my proffered cheek
We lead separate lives I know
To which we must return
But on this Silver, sacred night
Give that for which I yearn

Lovely romantic write... I have to confess to a slight disappointment that such a sensuous narrative is about no one in particular - this deserves to have someone to dedicate it to.
