Weaving a World

We chase the wind

of wants and dreams

swirl into places

places not seen

land or the sea

so carry us high

just like the eagle

spreading our wings

while the nightingale sing

a song of aspirations

reaching and stretching

forward or backward

alter the time

make different detours

reorder choices

decide something new

voices to hear

lovers to find

for such

we can dream of

thimbles of sand

put on our hand

sewing the cotton

from needles of pine

weaving a world

made by your hand

solid as rock

reborn again you stand
