Stress

clouds of gray to ruin my day
blocking red and orange rays
from reaching my petals
heavy blue drops settling on flourishing green lawns
bringing me worries of being surrounded by a puddle
sinking slowly into brown muck

i once was a flower of great power
tall green stalk stretching to bursting
into a sphere of magenta
a lone butterfly feeding
on the sweet nectar of my center
yellow bits affixing themselves to bristles
spreading far and wide
fathering many others

therefore in need to believe that
the sun will not cease to be
for soon i will see
sunbeams peaking through
the haziness of cotton wisps
bleeding yellow orange green blue & violet
the rainbow of promise

Attempt @ using more imagery in my poems. There is not as much flow to it though.

The imagery is good, don't stress to much about the flow, you will get there in the end. We are all trying to improve our writing skills.
