the world is so hungry thinking they can feast on everything filling themselves to bursting with earthly things yet we all know they're still hungry and thirsting wanting to know of the gift they've been given greater than all things in heaven and how he tore the veil just so you could get a little closer to the father with all your pleas always he's answering to wax-filled ears so you don't hear wax because your body rejecting everything toxic yet you still smoking and drinking to to oblivion get a taste of this and it'll allow you to live again yet like a college student forgetting to eat you're snacking on the very least grabbing junk food with no real sustenance grow up baby or you gonna stay egotistical oh so selfish when so many others need to be led to where you and I can truly be fed

About this poem:
Wrote this poem for an inspirational audition. However, I ended up doing another poem. It just seems as if it is a little "hard" or too aggressive. I've been told it has a wonderful rhythm though and I should put a beat behind it and another verse or two.
