The road to..........

The road narrowed
Was bumpy and rough
Turn right or left
Why are choices so tough

It was dark
I was so lost
Right or left
Didn't have a coin to toss

It started to rain
I couldn't see
Thunder, lightning and shadows
Closed in surrounding me

Alone and afraid
In the inky darkness
Right road or left
Could release me from my abyss

Which road to choose
I always choose wrong
I need to be wise and strong
because loneliness.. I don't belong

Maybe right will lead me
To where I desire to be
Perhaps it's the left road
That leads to a blissful abode

In the darkness of this deserted road
I'm afraid and all alone
Why cant I find my way home
Sometimes I just can't do this on my own

Hi country lady

This is an excellent description of the uncertainty we sometimes encounter when faced with what could be life changing choices - and there certainly are somethings we can't, (or would rather not) do on our own...

A fine write

Best wishes
