love is just not meant for me
for only in my dreams
will it ever end happily

for once again they are in my eyes
to wash away this veil
when will I stop believing
I hope that it will be never
when will I realize
that things change so quick

love is just not meant for me
maybe not at this time
for only in my dreams
I seek and then I find
will it ever end happily
and happily it will end

Sorry but I just could not accept a sad ending for you

looks like you could use a hug CL

just whatever it is you do just stay doing it one day love will find you. just a little advice from a poet friend. to help you attracked more intrest just a little advice and please just take it as this and nothing more. Start writting your poetry in an up beat happy funny silly way even tho you are sad it really shows in your poetry and yest we do have compasion for you and others on here that are in the same situation. But as they say it is hard to be with somebody who is sad. For now just be greatful you may not have a love but let the life being alive shine through your gorgeous smile that you display in your picture. you will soon attract many and potentially find the love you are looking for. from not just a poet but a friend. sending this to you with love a love of a friend who cares.

Rather sentimental for a poem. It would do better as a sad country song. As it stands, it is more of a sad Limerick. That is not to downgrade it, simply to put it in its proper venue. The unfortunate conception of those who wish to write poetry is that it must have rhyme after rhyme, which in many cases, takes away from the value of what is written. This "Tears" could well have been left in her diary. P.S. Myself I do not like "country songs" per se. They would do no good for someone who suffers from depression.
