I was awakened to the sun
Shimmering its Glorious light
I thanked the Lord above
For getting me through the night

The last few days
Have been dark and grey
But friends have been encouraging
And have been praying

I'm optimistic
Better days on coming
On Glorious days like today
With a brilliant blue sky and gentle breeze blowing

I see the beauty that surrounds me
The gifts GOD has made
I treasure and appreciate
The wild flowers growing in the glade

I cant help but smile
On Glorious days such as these
To treasure my children and enjoy life
I thank God on my bended knees....
