The judgement was given:
Banished from Paradise!

Destroyed forever..the beauty
she once had..

A soul rent from the bond with
its Maker..

She returns back to behold the
tree which had promised wisdom
and the prospect of living
forever..

From morning til night she stood
gazing at the tree..trying to
understand..trying to form the
words..

She remembers the one who spoke
to her..

She remembers his power of persuasion..
She looks down at her hands and feet
and feels her skin as an alien flesh..

The tree is guarded by flaming swords
and a fearful reminder of that terrible
injunction..'Thou Shall Not..'

She..Eve..mother of all living..

She..Eve..Beauty goddess of the
universe..

She..broken in mind and soul..

Ponders..gazes intently at the leaves
of the mysterious tree..

For a moment the voice of dread slips her
thinking..

She has thoughts..the deep stirs her
rememberance..

A prophetic utterance is brought to
her mind..

With a hand that was once purer than
olives and could gesture with the grace
of divinity..she drys her cheek filled
tears..

The words form on her lips..
And speaking with the voice
of a victor who will yet rise
she quotes the prophecy..

'He will crush your head, and
you will strike his heel'~
