Summer's turning cold....

She was young so naive and so was he…

Different hearts.. Both in searching for there meant to be..

Then they meet and the sparks fly instantly..

Missing puzzle piece their hands fit perfectly…

Thinking everything they had was all they’ll ever need..

And they won’t let go… Holding on to all they’ll ever know...

Life’s not gonna wait time is moving fast…

They will have to work to make it last…

You know summer’s turning cold…

As the season’s change.. So did he….

And she started to miss the way they used to be..

Like the weather his eyes were turning cold..

All the cursing and the screaming was getting old…

All the hurtful lies she was being told….

But she won’t let go… Holding on to all she’s ever known…

Life’s not gonna wait.. Time is moving fast..

She’s doing all she can to make it last…

But she knows.. Summer’s turning cold…

She says she’s done.. She gets up and walks away..

And he’s at her feet.. Begging her to stay..

Ain’t it funny when she’s finally given up…

He turns around and realizes he’s in love..

But the begging and the pleading isn’t enough…

So she lets go…. Guess her heart is breaking…

But she knows… Life’s not gonna wait.. time is moving fast..

And she needs to let go of the past…

But she knows… Summer’s has turned cold…
