The last breath
Author: Unknown
The night is longer than i expected
The silhouettes of men long forgotten whisper in the language unknown.
I am laying on the side of the enormously big cliff,
watching the waves as they splash against the rock...A powerful hand of nature
The fire is sparkling in the darkness
howling of wolves makes me shiver with fear
on the horizon a speck of light
a ship, or a visage or apparition ?
Am i saved? these chains are made of steal, unbreakable..i can hardly move
Oh, my sight is abandoning me
it tricked me like twice in the night
no God is there to show me the way
no angles on my shoulder to tell me right from wrong
.
Maybe it's time to change, to leave my thoughts behind
Let me forget about the salvation and let me stay where i am
away from the light.
Soon the darkness will take over,
it'll swallow the last heart beat.
And the smile of hope on my wrinkled face will evaporate into the air.
I'll become the ash of life, and the wind will blow me into the ocean,
with the first beam of the Sun.
Alone, lost in space and in time,
chained for eternity without a way to escape,
No comfortable life is awaiting me at the end of the rainbow.
No green grass and running waters will i see or taste again.
The hope left me with the speed of light,
there's no point in me kicking around - the chains are double-plaited
haha, there's no destiny written in the stars,
haha, there's no even the thing of us drawing our path of life
We have been lied to for so long!
I am all alone...
The darkness is coming to get me faster and faster,
It is opening its huge mouth and i can see the red tongue twisting...
'HELP ME!HELP ME!' - no use of shouting for help,
I am all alone...
Soon there will be no me any more
my name dies with the first morning Sun
Farewell
Farewell

i really am in deep emotional state so i just do this..write
These moments however lonely and despairing can be the stuff of very powerful poetry. The emotion in this piece really jumps out at you. I'm sure you feel better for getting it out there.
