Lone Star

The sun sets on the sky causing all to fade,
As it hits the time where the sun and the moon trade.
The sky filled with air and clouds as no star has its space,
Cause they have all disappeared in the city's light without a trace.
But oh what is this a single star in the center of the sky,
The city tries to dull it out slowing down its try.
Until finally the lights in town darken leaving the star,
Shining bright as it may without any resistance or wounded scar.
