Dolly on the tracks
Walking stick,
Beat up blue,
Hand in hand,
Me and you.
On the window,
On the chair,
Raindrops falling,
In my hair.
Broken whisper,
Inside out,
Upside down,
Then we shout.
Under water,
In the sea,
In the rain,
You and me.
Braided hair,
Shave your cheek
Another year,
Another week.
Christmas trees
Old and grey,
Gone tomorrow
Here today.
Sunlight, starlight,
Around once more,
In the bathroom,
on the floor.
Morning, evening,
Afternoon,
Wishing well,
Come home soon.
