No sooner had you walked into the house after and exhausting day at work I began to unfold my series of..love potions. I removed your coat and held your delicate neck and kissed your cheek with a tickling tongue.. I presented you with a painting I made for you in your favorite colours.. A teal green ocean scape.. As I walked to to the couch I set you down and carressed your tired feet.. I handed you a glass of French wine and whispered a special request from you.. When you gathered your composure I drapped your neck with that golden neclace you've been wanting.. Your smile intoxicated me, so I took you by the hand and lead you upstairs to the bath where I sprinkled the water with rose peddals and scented the room with exotic fragrances.. Soft classical music created the mood for the soft touch of passion.. As you slipped into the tub I played a classical piece from the old guitar you bought me.. With your frothy soaped body I entered the tub with you naked and empowered with passion.. You wrapped your legs around me and we sang and old Beatles toon.. The soap skimmed off your skin like silk gold and I pulled you against me as under an eagles wing.. Your giggles had so inflamed my passion that I picked you up and carried you to the bedroom where I surprised you with five new beautiful dresses.. But there was no time to try them on.. There was only time for love.. We threw down on the bed in raging passion and all through the night your crying screams only inflamed me more.. I awoke to find your love worn body entwined about me and your eyes transfixed in hypnotic gaze~

About this poem:
Ok..well..It's the girls fault..I plead the fifth..lol.
Dear Cafe, There are no bounds to creativeness when love is concerned. I guess what you describe in this poem is the least we could do to 'repay' for our love. But the reward we get when we awake in the morning is surely worth it. By our readiness to give everything to love we are making the least of contributions, cause in exchange we are receiving the whole universe, as described by the poet below: "My love I'll give you everything The sun the moon and all the stars The hummingbirds will gladly sing My love I'll give you everything A sunset fading in the spring A quartet of Spanish guitars My love I'll give you everything The sun the moon and all the stars" ("My Love I'll Give You Everything" by Simon Hayes) Many thanks for bringing joy to this corner with your dedications to love! Be blessed!

A creative Lover..indeed.. In truth..who needs all those gifts of jewels..dresses? The gift of love given & received freely makes...
"I awoke to find your love worn body entwined about me and your eyes transfixed in hypnotic gaze~" ...this all worthwhile.
Thanks Cafe..enjoyed your poem..
